My name is Carrie, and I am a 30-something year old, living in Seattle, just a few blocks from the Space Needle.
I'm a toxicologist by profession, but recently quit my job to be a full-time stay-at-home mom. Blogging keeps me from going completely insane :) My two kids who keep me very busy are Ethan, age 3 1/2 and Vivian, age 1 1/2.
My family is a mixed-culture family. My husband is Chinese-Canadian, having immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong as a young child. I'm a 15th generation American, and my family has lived in the Pacific Northwest since my great-great grandparents moved here in the 1890s. Daniel and I both have lots of relatives, so there are lots of people eager to spoil our kids!
We love living in the city and exploring all that it has to offer. I don't have access to a car during the week, so we do our exploring on foot or using public transportation. We also spend a lot of time at home, so are always trying to come up with new ways to stay busy, especially during the rainy Seattle winter!
