Review: AwesomeBox (a fantastic gift idea!)

*Disclosure: I received this product to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

My friends! I have something to tell you. My husband, Daniel, is AWESOME. He's a hard worker, a great husband, and an amazing dad. Everyone who meets him likes him and he's been compared to a ray of sunshine at more than one workplace. I definitely married up. He's also committed to biking to work and is training for a half marathon. Seriously.

I try to remember to tell Daniel how great he is and the kids occasionally do the same. But it's one thing to say it and its another to have it in a permanent format that he can read and look at again and again. Enter his Father's Day gift (shh, don't tell him!), an AwesomeBox. I was excited about this product from the first time I heard about it. Here's a bit about it.

AwesomeBox transforms photos, sentiments, and stories into an eye-catching package filled with memories he’ll treasure for years to come.
To get started, customers create an online portfolio where friends and family are invited to upload their favorite pictures and messages. Even those loved ones who are overseas or far away can contribute to the surprise thanks to its web-based platform. They’ve even made it easy to pull images straight from Facebook!
Once everything has been curated, AwesomeBox goes to work designing unique, beautifully printed cards he can turn to time after time for love, inspiration, and a smile.
AwesomeBox is the foolproof way to create a heartfelt gift he’ll cherish forever. They’re also the perfect surprise for graduations, anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, and the list goes on, all starting at $19 for a 10 card box.

Since this was a Father's Day gift, I didn't ask any friends or family to contribute, but it would have been really simple to do. Actually, everything about the process was simple. I was able to either upload pictures from my computer or from Facebook (which I loved, since that's where most of my photos lived) and quickly add a memory or thought on the backside of the card. The process could not have been simpler. And it was so much fun to go back through old photos and remember good times. And it was also a blast to interview my kids about their dad and to share those thoughts as well!

My box was easy to make and order and just a few days after I finished designing it, it was on my doorstep. The box is really high quality and sturdy and the cards themselves are great. The colors and text are bright and crisp. I cannot wait to give this to Daniel on Father's Day!

The AwesomeBox would make a fantastic gift for pretty much any occasion. We all need to be reminded about our awesomeness every so often!

And I have a coupon code for you to use with your AwesomeBox creations!  Happy shopping!

AWESOMESUMMER will get people $15 off. Valid May 15 through Aug 31, 2016.
