Review: Super Elastic Colliders Kit from Marbles the Brain Store

*Disclosure: I received this product to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

Sunday afternoon found my kids and I in our house. I'd declared an end to screen time and homework had been done. Daddy was at work and I didn't feel like taking the kids out on my own. Thankfully, boredom was avoided by opening a super fun science kit. It's from Marbles- The Brain Store, and it's called the Super-Elastic Colliders Kit! Here's a bit about it, from the product's website:

Get ready to launch yourself into some serious fun with this Super-Elastic Colliders Kit! Mold crystallizing polymers into bouncy balls to explore Newtonian physics to launch balls over 8 ft!
Everything necessary is included in the box, (especially safety goggles), so you'll be able to instantly start creating your own bouncy balls!
The Super-Elastic Colliders Kit gives you hours of scientific fun and a long-lasting bouncing trophy when you're all finished.

My kids were so excited to try out this kit. They are huge fans of bouncy balls, so making their own and doing experiments with them was right up their alley. The kit contained everything we needed, with the exception of a bowl of water and a tray/plate for putting the molds on while we filled them (to avoid getting the granules everywhere). It took some trial and error to make our bouncy balls- I highly recommend a light coating of cooking oil on the inside of the molds- but eventually we had our sets of balls made and dried off and were ready for some bouncing. The kids had a blast seeing how high they could get the balls to bounce. And they loved the bright colors of the balls.

This kit is educational and fun and I highly recommend it for exploring science with kids!
