Review- BuppaLaPaloo- the interactive and adorable teddy bear!

*Disclosure: I received this product to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

My children have no shortage of stuffed animals. In fact, I'm amazed every night when they manage to fit themselves into their beds alongside their herds of creatures. Creatures of every shape, size and color. I was pretty sure we'd covered all types of stuffed animals until recently, when we received one that's a bit different from the rest. It's called BuppaLaPaloo and here's a bit about this bear:

Put away the iPads and cell phones, and allow your child to connect with a teddy bear that teaches them strong, powerful, fun statements to reinforce how special they really are.  I love me!, I love my body!, I love to laugh!, I am so loved!, are some of the joyful sayings that the bear says to the child, that the child repeats back to their best friend in first person. Psychologists agree that a child’s personality and basic life pattern is firmly embedded by the ages of 4-7. Early childhood self-love is so vital to children because it is the core of how they interact with the world.
The interactive toy works with a press of a paw.  A positive, empowering message is delivered from one paw, and it offers the opportunity for the parent or child to record something special of their own on the other paw! BuppaLaPaloo will help children learn to feel empowered and full of love!

First of all, this teddy bear is really cute and really soft. Ethan was in love with him right from when he first saw the bear, even before he discovered the bear's secret- the bear talks! And the bear has great things to say to Ethan! I chose to give this bear to Ethan rather than his sister, even though she is younger and is a bit more into teddy bears than he is. The reason I made that decision is that life (at least right now) is pretty easy for Vivian. Most things come to her easily and with little effort. She has lots of friends and gets along with everyone. Ethan, on the other hand, has a lot of challenges at home and at school and always has. He's the sweetest and friendliest child on the planet, but his days are full of people reminding him to stay on task or trying to get him to focus or struggling with his homework. So I knew that any little way that we could get more positive words into his life would be a good thing.

Ethan has been been loving the bear- I hear him lying in bed and pressing the paw all the time with the pre-recorded phrases. And he thinks the ability to record his own phrases is about the funniest thing ever. His bear has lots to say to him about Star Wars these days! Fun and encouraging! We love it!

This bear is a great way to remind kids about the good things about themselves. I like the list of phrases that the bear comes with, and I love that you can record messages as well. Kids can never hear enough how much they are loved by their parents!  For more information on BuppaLaPaloo and the ideas behind it, visit the website. Happy shopping!
