Review: Two new kids' books from Sky Pony Press!

*Disclosure: I received these books to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

Yesterday was a dreary day in Seattle. Dark and full of torrential rain and crazy wind. So it was a good evening for staying in and curling up with some new kids' books that we recently received from Sky Pony Press. The books are entitled Piglet Bo is Not Scared and The Daring Prince Dashing.  Here's a bit about these books, from a press release that I received:

Piglet Bo is Not Scared

The second book in the Piglet Bo series, PIGLET BO IS NOT SCARED! is a whimsical story that will capture the hearts of children and adults alike. Piglet Bo insists that he is not scared. Not scared of anything and not scared of anyone. And if you think he seems scared, well, you’re misunderstanding the situation. This playful tale of a pig who just can’t admit he’s afraid is sure to get kids laughing out loud. (Ages 3-6)
The Daring Prince Dashing
DARING PRINCE DASHING is a fun and unique new take on the classic Cinderella story. The night of the royal ice cream social, he meets a girl as adventurous as he is. But at the stroke of bedtime, the girl hurries off, leaving behind her mysterious stick. In his usual daring way, Dashing ventures out to search for the stick’s owner. Will he ever find his friend? (Ages 3-6)
Both of these books got enthusiastic thumbs up ratings from Ethan and Vivian.  I thought both books were cute. Piglet Bo is a funny little creature who tries to be brave but doesn't always succeed. My kids often can't even make it to the trying stage when they are nervous about something, so I liked the message of this book. Daring Prince Dashing is a charming little boy who loves adventure and having fun. It's a really cute book with great illustrations. I'd recommend either book for the little ones in your life!
