Holiday Gift Guide 2014: Add some sparkle with Le Grand Courtage Sparkling Wine!

*Disclosure: I received samples of this product to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

The holiday season is upon us! Which, for lots of people, means both gifting opportunities and entertaining friends and family. I am here today with a product that works great for both gifting and opening at home- Le Grand Courtage sparkling wine! Here's a bit about this wine, from a press release that I received:

Our beautiful bottle offers an exceptional value and our dry, crisp, yet fruit forward flavor profile is sure to please the palate.

Consider our Blanc de Blancs Brut or Brut Rosé for all your Holiday occasions:
  • 750ml bottles - dinner parties, hostess gifts, gift baskets, and of course, New Year's Eve
  • 187ml bottles - present toppers, stocking stuffers, office gifts and party favors
Le Grand Courtâge wines are cuisine and cocktail-friendly, offering French elegance, American appeal and affordable pricing.
Don't those wine bottles just look so pretty and elegant?  I've seen them all in person, and I guarantee they look even better in real life than they do in the picture. I received samples of these wines to try and really enjoyed them.  I particularly liked the Brut Rose- it's a little different than most sparkling wines I've tried in the past. It has a pretty pink color, but it's not a sugary, sweet pink wine- it's a nice, light Rose. The Blanc de Blancs was also very enjoyable.  I had no problem with drinking either of these wines. They would definitely make great hostess gifts or as part of a gift basket for the wine lover in your life.  And, best of all, they are affordable, costing just at or below $20 for the 750 ml bottles.  These wines can be purchased online or at Whole Foods or Cost Plus World Market!
