Review: Funny Face Dried Cranberries

*Disclosure: I received samples and some Funny Face branded items for the purpose of this review. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

I've discovered something over the past week. Being in school all day and having multiple recesses and physical education class leaves my children ravenously hungry by 3 PM. Seriously, I've never seen them eat so much. I keep packing masses of snacks for the park and still find that I haven't brought enough. This is a new thing for me! One of the snacks that I've been packing and that the kids have been enjoying lately are Funny Face Dried Cranberries.  This great little snack comes in four flavors- raspberry, cherry, grape and strawberry.

Honestly, I have been eating these right along with the kids when we're at the park and enjoying snack time. I love that they are sweet but not sugary, and also have a great flavor.  I also love that these cranberries are not only delicious, but are a really good addition to our diets from a health perspective. Here's a bit about that, from the Funny Face website:
The health benefits of cranberries are numerous and cutting edge research is unearthing new data on a regular basis. Cranberries contain nature’s most powerful antioxidant, proanthocyanidins Type A which are unique to cranberries. This compound has antioxidant and anti-adhesion properties which have been shown to help fight certain harmful bacterial. So when you hear that cranberries are healthy for urinary tract health, it’s because they prevent bacteria from sticking around inside your body and growing to cause infection. Only .7 oz. of dried cranberries has the same benefits as drinking an 8 oz. glass of cranberry juice with 27% juice!
My kids have no idea that this is a healthy snack. They just like how it tastes. With little kids, that's what you want to see! So, if you're looking for a new addition to your kids' lunch or snack box, check out the great products from Funny Face!
