Review: Lassig Wildlife Mini Backpack

*Disclosure: I received this product to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

My parents are arriving for a visit next week, and while they are here they have plans to take the kids on several trips to visit relatives.  Vivian is all ready to pack up her stuffed animals and go, thanks to the arrival of an adorable new backpack from Lassig.  Here's a bit about this Wildlife Mini backpack, from its website:

Whether they are heading off to school, or going on their first big adventure, your little one will love carrying their very own backpack! Features include roomy main zipper pocket, handle, adjustable shoulder straps, and chest strap. Available in six bright Wildlife designs: Elephant, Turtle, Birdie, Tiger, Giraffe, and Rhino. All materials used to manufacture Lassig bags are free of PVC, AZO, Phthalates, Nickel and Cadmium.
Vivian is majorly obsessed with this backpack and has been wearing it around the house for days now.  She loves the bright colors and the elephant picture. And she really loves the chest strap, as she is a big fan of buckling things up. "Safety first!" is her motto lately. The backpack is really sturdy and well-constructed. I like that it has padding for comfort and adjustable straps, so we can get her the perfect fit.

The backpack isn't big enough for kindergarten, as her school specifies that the kids must have full-sized backpacks and this one isn't quite big enough to fit notebooks and folders into. But it's a great size for travel and for daytrips in the city.  We are big fans!
