Review: Epson Labelworks LW-600P Portable Label Printer

*Disclosure: I received this product to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

Okay, confession time. There is a new love in my life.  Fortunately it's one that my husband is okay with, since I'm in love with a label maker.  I am an insanely organized person and there's little in life that I enjoy more than putting things in precise order. It's a mystery to me how I've survived so long without a label printer, but now that sad era of my life is over and I have the fantastic Epson LW-600P Portable Label Printer by my side. Here's a bit about this product, from its website:

Now, it's easier than ever to print customized labels — virtually anywhere — with the LW-600P portable label printer. Print labels from your smartphone, tablet, PC or Mac. Print date labels for food items, QR code labels, or labels to organize cables. Create ribbons for gifts, or even labels with symbols or hand-written messages. Preview labels before printing. Or, use smartphones with voice recognition to create labels fast. Download the Epson iLabel app for iOS or Android devices or choose from other compatible apps available. With multiple tapes to choose from (up to one-inch wide) and an automatic cutter, you’ve got all you need for customized labels on the go.
I may have gone a little crazy with labeling things.
That's because this label maker is so insanely simple to use.  I pulled it out of the box, plugged it in, put in the label cartridge, downloaded the free app and 30 seconds later I had my first label. It's all very intuitive and can connect to your computer or Android/Apple device over Bluetooth, so no wires to connect to your device from the printer.  There are multiple different sizes and colors of labels available, including iron-on label ribbon.  This is great for printing labels to iron in to your kids jackets and other clothes that they will be taking to school. I've seen the size of the lost and found pile at my son's elementary school- kids cannot keep track of their stuff, and if it is labeled, chances are better that it will find its way home.

This is a great multipurpose label printer for both home and business use. It's small and easy to transport and can run off of batteries for even more flexibility.  I can't wait to finish labeling things! What a great tool for an organized life!
