Review: Baby's First Book Blocks

*Disclosure: I received a copy of this book to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

Since I don't have babies in the house anymore, I've pretty much gotten rid of all baby-appropriate toys. Which is fine most of the time, but I do have friends with babies who visit us, and I recently realized that I need to keep something around for my littlest visitors to play with when they are here. Which is why I was glad to get the chance to review a fun new baby product- Baby's First Book Blocks! Here's a bit about these, from the product's website:

Baby’s First Book Blocks is a series of mini board books designed to entice infants to focus and develop their visual acuity. Featuring high-contrast colors, eye-catching shapes, and colorful patterns, these chunky little books also incorporate the latest scientific research about vision development, making for the perfect introductory baby books.

There are four different books in the set. The books range from containing simple black and white patterns to more complicated patterns in a variety of colors. The books themselves are chunky, but don't seem to be too heavy for little hands. I love that they also can be stacked as blocks.  Multipurpose toys are the best! This little set of books would definitely make for a fun and unique baby present, so if you have baby showers coming up in your future, keep these in mind!
