Giveaway: #SuburbanMom summer fun with Chevy! (with giveaway of two $150 Spa Finder gift cards)

*Disclosure: As part of the #SuburbanMom summer program, I was loaned a Chevy Suburban for three days and also given the opportunity to give away $300 worth of SpaFinder gift cards!

Yesterday afternoon, as the kids and I stood in the front yard and anxiously waited, a beautiful 2015 Chevy Suburban drove up to our house.  This was to be our ride for the next three days and we couldn't wait! I got the chance to drive this Chevy as part of the Suburban Mom summer initiative.  Driving the car is the fun part for me (stay tuned for my full review in a few days!) as I use the car to help get my busy summer off to a good start, but there's a fun part for all of you as well! I've been given the opportunity to give away two Spa Finder gift cards, worth $150 each!  Perfect for putting you back into the driver's seat of your life! Entry instructions below.  And be sure to enter soon as this give away is only open for a few days!

Okay, so the giveaway instructions are pretty easy.  You can enter in one of 4 ways:

  1) Go comment on this post on Facebook with your story of a good/bad/memorable day of parenthood: https://www.facebook.com/GMKReviews/posts/10152078553386065

or 2) Leave me (@gabreviews) a Twitter comment that includes #SuburbanMom and tells your good/bad/most memorable parent day!

or 3) Leave me a comment on this blog post with the details of your most good/bad/memorable day! You still need to include the #SuburbanMom hashtag, please.

or 4) Post a photo about your memorable/good/bad day on Instagram and include the hashtag #SuburbanMom and tag me @carriejyu

Or you can do all four things!

I will accept entries through 11:59 PM on Thursday, June 27, pacific time.  I will be choosing the two stories that I think most appropriately captures the symbolic and practical demands of parenthood and will announce winners on June 30th. So get those stories coming!

My most memorable parent day was when I brought my newborn daughter home to meet her big brother.

One of my best mom moments was when my son learned to read. He suffered from dyslexia and really struggled. When he came home from school and read me a story I cried tears of joy. #SuburbanMom

My most memorable parenting day was when I got my first Mother's Day card, handmade by my stepdaughter. It was surprisingly emotional for me! She was fifteen and we had had a lot of problems adjusting to our new status as a stepfamily. I didn't know what I was doing and she was a fifteen-year-old rebelling against everything! There were an awful lot of fights and tears that first year, but we eventually became so close that she asked me to adopt her. Which was also pretty memorable. :) #suburbanmom
