Review: New Yoplait Greek Yogurt

Disclosure: I received product samples to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

Ethan's recently gone off on a strawberry yogurt eating-kick. Since he's my picky/non-eater, I'm happy to support him and provide whatever food he's interested in.  In a bit of really excellent timing, we recently received a delivery at our home- a case of new Yoplait Greek Yogurt, in the strawberry-raspberry flavor!  Ethan and I were both thrilled and dove right in.  Here's a bit about this new yogurt, from a press release that I received:

New blended Yoplait Greek is available in six unique flavors including Blueberry, Strawberry-Raspberry, Tangerine, Coconut, Pineapple, and Vanilla.  Each cup is made with simple ingredients – using natural colors, flavors and sweeteners – and real pieces of fruit.  In addition, each 5.3 oz. serving delivers 100 percent more protein than regular yogurt*, contains 150 calories or less per serving – and 0 percent fat.

We've really been enjoying this new yogurt. Having the fruit already blended in is really handy when the kids are eating it- one less thing for me to have to stir.  The texture is nice and the flavor is sweet but not overpowering in the least.  While eating my first cup of the yogurt, I was kind of surprised to find a blueberry in my strawberry-raspberry yogurt, but then read the top and saw that it noted that a blend of other fruits was included. I don't like blueberries in my yogurt, but it was simple enough to eat around them. All in all, I really like this new blended greek yogurt, and Ethan's been asking for it every morning, which is a huge vote of approval from him!  We can't wait to try out more flavors!
