CD review: Joanie Leeds and the Nightlights present Bandwagon!

Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this CD to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions presented here are mine and mine alone.

My kids have an extremely well-stocked music library, so I haven't been accepting many review opportunities for kids' music.  But there are a few artists that I absolutely cannot resist. Joanie Leeds and her band, the Nightlights, definitely fall into the cannot resist category, so when I got an email announcing her new album, I happily accepted the review opportunity.

The new album (out today!) is called Bandwagon, and it is great.  It's full of songs that are silly, songs that are upbeat and energetic, and songs that are a bit slower and relaxing. I love albums that have this type of range of musical speeds and styles- keeps everyone listening and entertained! I also like this album because it's just quality music. Joanie has a lovely voice and the musicians on the album are very talented as well. This is not just good kids' music, it's just plain good music! There were lots of songs that my son asked to hear again and again, which is always a sign that he loves an album as well.  If you're looking for some music to entertain you this summer, do not miss this new CD!

Don't you love it when your child finds a good CD that really connects with them?
