CD review and giveaway: 'Share'

There are many great kids' music performers out there, and I've had the opportunity to review many albums here on the blog.  My kids have a top notch collection of great music. But when Recess Music releases a new CD in their "Best Foot Forward" series, I am always happy to make space for another CD. I love these CDs. According to a press release that I received, Recess Music is "a company dedicated to helping kids value a world that is wise, fair, and generous hearted..."  And it comes across in the music.  Share is a wonderful addition to the series.  Here's a bit about it, from that press release that I mentioned:

All the songs on Share! celebrate sharing and generosity as key actions for bringing harmony and understanding into classrooms, neighborhoods, and homes.  The album features 15 tracks that showcase contributions by some of today's most gifted kids' musicians, including Renee & Jeremy, Dog on Fleas, Ben Rudnick & Friends, Charity and the JAMband, and Noel Paul Stookey ("Paul" of the legendary folk-singing trio Peter, Paul and Mary).

Share! is now available for pre-order at recessmusic.com, and, upon its release, will also be available at amazon.com and its international affiliates, iTunes, and brick and mortar retailers throughout the U.S.

I love CDs like this that feature lots of different artists. It keeps the CD moving along at a fun pace and you just never know what to expect next. My kids and I thought the songs were catchy musically, with funny lyrics (sometimes) and a great message of sharing and friendliness (all the time!). Ethan and Vivian even sat and shared and played nicely the whole time we were listening. So it's clearly a magic CD!

Playing nicely! And sharing!

We really like this CD and I think your family will too!
