Review: Bookshelf from Personal Creations

We're moving in 2 1/2 weeks, and we're going from a small condo to a small townhouse with a twice as many rooms.  So I'm going to be splitting my kids' stuff up between a playroom and their bedroom.  Including their books, so it was good timing when I recently received a personalized bookshelf for them, from the website Personal Creations. Here's a bit about this bookshelf:

Ideal for a bedroom or playroom, this ingenious Canvas Book Display gives your child easy access to his or her favorite books. Made of sturdy wood composite, it features 4 deep, easy-to clean storage pockets made of lightweight canvas. We embroider any name, up to 10 characters. Measures 28"H x 25"L x 12”W. Some simple assembly required.

This bookshelf is available in either pastel or primary color fabric. The bookshelf was fairly easy to assemble (would have been easier with a second person to help), and soon after it arrived, my kids were loading it up with lots of books.  It's nice and lightweight, so will be easy to move around our new house, but it's still pretty sturdy.  The embroidery on the bottom shelf is a little low (as you can see in my photo) so it's hard to read, even with fairly heavy books in it. Not really a big deal though- I'm still really happy with this little bookshelf and can't wait to put it in our new home!

Personal Creations has tons more than bookshelves- they have all sorts of decor and accessories for you and your home, including lots of Christmas gifts. So be sure to drop by and check the site out as you're looking for gifts for your friends and family!
