Review: New products from K'Nex

As you all know, I have two kids. My daughter will be three next month and  my son turns five in August.  Entertaining my daughter is easy- give her a doll and some clothes and she's happy for hours. My son, however, is a different story. He's very high energy and is very much into trucks and planes and cars and crashing things- things that I as a girl do not always understand. Fortunately though, I recently received some new products from K'Nex that he and I have been able to enjoy together. Bonding time!

The first product is the new K'Nex Classics Strike Force Bomber. Here's a bit about it, from the K'Nex website:
Build a bomber with classic K'NEX pieces! The Strike Force Bomber has 137 pieces including missiles that can be released from the bomb bay doors to create realistic bombing missions. Or build a drone or fighter jet that each carry missiles.
I was a little intimidated by the box and the picture of the bomber, but it turned out to be surprisingly easy to build, even for a spatially-challenged person such as myself. Ethan and I had a great time sitting around the table and looking for the right pieces while we put it together.  Then he's been having fun since then flying it all around the house!

We also received the new K'Nex Classics Rally Sport Racer. I think my husband is just as excited about this one as my son, and they have plans to put it together tonight.
Use classic K'NEX pieces to build a rally sport racer and race to the finish line! With over 110+ classic K'NEX pieces! Or build a muscle car or the pick-up truck for more building fun!

Vivian wasn't left out of the fun- she received a great product from K'Nex as well- these cute little Elmo and Cookie Monster figures! Here's a bit about the Best Friends Building Set, from the K'Nex website:
Your child can build and play with best friends Elmo & Cookie Monster! Set includes 8 chunky pieces so your child can easily build these well-loved pals and take them on fun and memorable adventures. Dressed in their caps and t-shirts, Elmo and Cookie Monster are ready for anything your child can imagine!
Vivian's been having a great time building and rebuilding these characters, and they've fit in well with the dolls in her dollhouse :)

I really love K'Nex toys. Everything that I've reviewed has been high quality and has done a great job of stimulating my kids' imaginations. K'Nex offers lots of products other than these three- so if you're looking for a gift idea, be sure to check them out!

Disclosure: I received these products to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.
