I was pleased by my experience with Stanley Steemer from the very beginning. The website was very easy to navigate, and you can quickly get a quote for service based on the type and number of rooms being cleaned and the services needed. You can also easily schedule an appointment on the website. I was surprised by how soon I could get an appointment- no long waits!

After scheduling my cleaning, I got a confirmation email. Another one arrived a few days before my appointment.  I was given a 3-hour window of arrival.  Shortly before the cleaners arrived, I received a phone call from Stanley Steemer, letting me know they were going to arrive shortly.  The two men arrived right after that and very professionally introduced themselves and checked out the space to be cleaned. I was offered a few additional services that I hadn't originally booked, but I never felt any pressure to accept those.  After going over the price and verifying what would be done, they got right to work.

I stayed in the kitchen while the two men cleaned, and since I pretty much live in a home the size of a shoebox, I could always see what was going on. They cleaned efficiently and thoroughly. They checked in with me frequently about what furniture I would like for them to move and they also made sure to have me check what they had cleaned to make sure I was happy with how it looked.  I had three rooms cleaned, and they did a great job in just over an hour. My carpets looked like new and they dried quickly.  I was nothing but pleased with this experience.

We generally clean the carpets ourselves, and having the professionals do it was definitely more expensive. For three rooms including cleaning of the carpets and deodorizing (deodorizing was an optional add-on) and cleaning an area rug (also optional), plus use of the portable machine, since I live in a condo building and they can't use the normal equipment, it came to just over $300. It definitely looked better than when we do it ourself with a rental cleaner, so I think this is a great investment in my home and definitely something that I plan to do at least annually.
