Review and giveaway: Naturalizer's Spring Shoes

I am well known among my friends and family as someone who really loves shoes.  And since I buy new shoes often, I generally buy low-end shoes that don't cost much. I've always figured that shoes are shoes, right?  Sadly, my theory was proven wrong when I recently received a beautiful pair of shoes from Naturalizer's Spring shoe collection.

I chose to review the Posh shoes from the Spring collection, because they looked super pretty and also are unlike anything else that I already own.  When they arrived, I opened the box and was even more impressed  by the appearance of these shoes in real life.

 

These shoes are designed with Naturalizer's N5 Comfort Elements. This means that they have insoles designed for ultimate flexibility, have featherweight outsoles to lighten every step, have a ergonomic heel and toe shape for stability, contain extra cushioning underfoot to soften impact and have breathable linings to keep you cool. 

I decided to give these shoes the ultimate test by wearing them the day that: 1) was the day after we returned from Disneyland (meaning I have several blisters on my feet);  2) we were working in our church's nursery, which requires me to be on my feet for about 90 minutes and 3) we had an activity to attend at the Children's Museum.  I put on the shoes at 9:30 this morning and didn't take them off until 3:30 this afternoon. I was on my feet a ton at church, then while we walked the 0.7 mile to the Children's Museum, all around the museum, all around the Seattle Center and for the 0.7 mile walk back.  That's 6 hours of wearing and a lot of walking. 

My verdict is that these are probably one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes that I own, even with a 3 1/2 inch heel. Yes, my feet were hurting by the end of the 6 hours, but I was actually really not uncomfortable until right at the end. They felt good on my feet and I didn't feel like it was at all difficult to walk in them, even though the heels are slightly higher than I usually wear. I fear that my "shoes are shoes" theory has been destroyed. These cute, comfortable shoes will definitely be appearing on my feet often in the near future!
