Review: Mr. Chewy

I talk a lot about my husband and kids on this blog, but the two furry members of my family don't get as much blog time.  When Daniel and I got engaged, we got a shelter cat, Jenny, who is our sweet little furbaby.  A year later, we added our other cat to the family, the totally neurotic but still entertaining Gracie. Our cats are pretty low-maintenance, but they do require (of course) lots of food, litter and treats. And since we're a city family and I do most of my grocery shopping on foot, getting food and litter back to our condo is sometimes problematic. 

Which is why I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review a site that brings all the cats' supplies right to my door! The site is called Mr. Chewy, and it's a supplier of all the things you need to take care of your dogs and cats.

I found the Mr. Chewy website to be very easy to navigate, and it only took me a few minutes to locate the exact cat food, treats and litter that I was looking for and add them to my cart. As compared to the big stores where I often drive and buy the cats' supplies, prices were a little higher, but they were similar to what I find in my city grocery store.  And with an order of $49 or above, shipping is free.

My order took just over a week to arrive, but I placed the order just before the New Year's holiday, so I'm sure that factors into the delivery time.  It was so nice to have a giant box of cat supplies just waiting at my front door when I got home- no lugging big boxes of cat litter and big bags of cat food from my car to the hallway and up to my home.
