App review: Strawberry Shortcake Digital Comic

As I mentioned in my last post, I've been trying out a lot of new apps on my iPod lately. Another one that we've recently tried out is the new Strawberry Shortcake Digital Comic. Here's a bit about it, from a press release that I received:

For more than three decades Strawberry Shortcake has been a favorite with moms and daughters for teaching wholesome values, going on fantasy adventures and proving that little girls can do big things. Developed by Ape Entertainment's digital partner iVerse Media, the Strawberry Shortcake digital comic app is free to download and features a preview of the first issue at no additional cost and offers the first three issues for $1.99 each. Each issue contains three stories, including one 16-page story, and two four-page stories.

I thought this was a really cute little digital comic, and I think it would be great for any fan of Strawberry Shortcake. The comic is nicely drawn and very colorful. The stories are sweet and I had a good time reading them to Vivian. We look forward to seeing what adventures Strawberry Shortcake and friends get up to next!

Disclosure: I received these app to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.
