App review: I Learn with Transportation

Like most little boys, my son, Ethan, is obsessed with all things that go. So when I found out about a new app for iPhone and iPad called "I Learn with Transportation", I suspected it would be a bit hit with my kids. And I was right! Here's a bit about this app, from the company's website:

By land, sea, air... and space! DADA Company introduces the most fun and exciting way to learn and explore your little one’s interest in cars, motorbikes, ships, rockets, and more. This app is a mix of book, animated illustration, and videogame for iPhone and iPad.

I Learn with Transportation introduces the child to six knowledge areas: sounds, words, colors, shapes, numbers, and environments. And it is designed specifically to fulfill the developmental needs of children.

Plus, the book offers a brand new experience each time it launches. The combination of pages changes endlessly, so that each time a new reading starts it entails a new challenge, and a new entertaining adventure.

This is a really fun and educational app. My kids loved touching the vehicles and making them make noise or move around the screen or say a number or color.  I like that they were learning while they play, and that this app changes, so they learn something new every time they play. The graphics are great, the music is fun, and it's all really easy for the little ones to manage.  The app can be played in either English or Spanish, for even more learning.  To download this app, visit this link.
