Review and giveaway: Sock Ons

I think every parent of infants has had the experience that I'm about to describe here. You dress your little baby, put on some socks to keep his/her feet warm, turn your back for 15 seconds... and the socks are off the little feet. So you put them back on and repeat the process until you are about to lose your mind. When my kids were little, the only thing that kept their socks in place was the fancy leather shoes that they'd gotten as gifts. Whenever I forgot to put those shoes on over their socks, it was a lost cause.

Now there's a new solution to the sock staying put problem- Sock Ons! Here's a bit about these, from a press release that I received:

Keeping baby socks on can be a challenge.  They slip off easily from baby’s kicks and tugs! A new and adorable mom-invented innovation keeps socks snug and on baby’s feet. Sock Ons are worn over the baby sock, locking the sock firmly in place. Sock Ons are an essential baby item that no baby parent can do without and make a perfect little baby gift item.
Since my kids are way past the new baby-kicking off socks stage, I enlisted the help of a friend with a new baby boy.  She tried them out with Baby M and told me that they did in fact work to keep his socks in place, even when he was in his bouncer and wiggling a ton.  She did note that they weren't as aesthetically pleasing as the fancy leather shoes that babies wear, but that they did work.

As far as the comparison to the fancy shoes, she has a point, but the Sock Ons are far less expensive and are available in a variety of colors- and with a Sneaker Print too! I think this is another brilliant idea- moms come up with the best things! To find out where to buy Sock Ons, just visit the website.

And I have good news! I have one pair of pink Sock Ons to give away to a lucky reader.  Open to US mailing addresses only, please enter at the Rafflecopter widget below.

Disclosure: I received two pairs of Sock Ons to review/give away. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.
