Is your family dealing with autism? Check out "Autism America Radio"

I know there are so many families out there that are living with autism, so I really wanted to share some information with you that I received this week.  

Ed Asner will be a special guest on the popular new radio show Autism America Radio on Saturday, September 3, KTLK in Los Angeles (1150AM) at 3:00-5:00PM. Ed will join his son, host Matthew Asner and Andrea Nittoli for a very personal discussion about Autism. Both Ed and his son Matthew have sons with Autism and have been working together to raise autism awareness.

Autism affects 1 out of 110 children in America. Autism America Radio is a 2-hour weekly radio program heard on KTLK 1150 AM in the Los Angeles market that gives an informative and entertaining view of the world of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs). Autism America Radio will air every Saturday from 3pm-5pm. The radio show also streams live to an international audience through the KTLK website- and is available as a podcast on ITunes and at The show debuted on August 20th, 2011 with two amazing guests. Dr. Temple Grandin and Izzy Paskowitz (new OWN series).

Matthew Asner and co-host, Andrea Nittoli, will try to make sense of this dizzying world of ASDs that affect so many families today. The show will feature a special guest every week from the entertainment/sports/music industry and parents, children and adults living with ASDs. It will feature a balanced array of scientists and other leaders in the fight for solutions and compassion will be guests on the show. The show will always include calls from listeners, who will have a huge voice on Autism America Radio. It will give them a base of communication, togetherness and most important, hope.
