DVD review- The Smurfs: A Magical Smurf Adventure

Even though the calendar says July 7, today in Seattle we're experiencing chilly weather and drizzle.  So it's an inside day for the kids and I. Fortunately we have a fun new DVD to keep us entertained- The Smurfs: A Magical Smurf Adventure
Here's some information on this DVD, from a press release that I received:

This is a 2-disc DVD set that, in addition to the 10 episodes, includes special features such as "Smurf Speak" and "Smurftastic Moments."

I'm probably the only person in the US who grew up in the 80s and never watched the Smurfs on TV.  So all of these episodes are new to me, and I've been having fun getting to know the Smurfs with my kids. Ethan in particular is loving the Smurfs- he's been laughing at the antics that the Smurfs and their friends get up to, and as soon as one episode ends, he begs for another.

If you're a big fan of the Smurfs and want to share the fun with your family, take a look at this DVD. It's a really nice collection of episodes, and I know you'll have fun watching it! The Smurfs: A Magical Smurf Adventure will be released on July 19, 2011 from Warner Home Video.

Disclosure: I received a copy of this DVD to review for myself. I received no other compensation and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.
