My Miche Bag. This wasn't something that I received for review, but was a product that I won on another blog. And I am SO glad that I did. This bag has been so great and I get so many compliments on its appearance, even before I explain just how cool it really is! In case you missed my last post, here's a bit about Miche Bags, from the company's website:
Being a Miche fan means never having to switch purses again— it's a beautiful thing! You put all of your essentials in just one bag and never have to bother with moving it all to a different purse each time you change your outfit. Imagine—you will always know where your favorite lipstick is!I received 3 different shells with my bag, and they are all pretty and fabulous in their own ways. I love how simple it's been to change the outside of my bag, without having to move every individual product that I have inside. Just unsnap the old shell, move the interior bag, and snap the new shell on. The whole process literally takes seconds. It takes longer to decide which shell I want to use than to switch shells!
You start with a Base Bag—Classic, Big Bag, or Mini—then add any one of our stylish Shells and you're ready for your busy day. Which "you" are you feeling like today? Fun? Flirty? Sophisticated? All business? No problem. You can give your Miche Bag the exact look you want in 3 seconds or less. Now that's instant gratification!
The StrollAway. Where do I start with my love of this simple, but essential product.... We live in a very small condo on the edge of the city, without outdoor space or extra storage or any spare closets. Every bit of the condo has to be organized and things need their place. Which makes storing things like strollers particularly challenging and annoying. Until we got the StrollAway, that is. Here's a bit about this product, from the company's website:
Here's our StrollAway with our Joovy Scooter X2 on it.
- Heavy duty steel construction.
- Slides easily over the door.
- Spacer included to fit any door width.
- Folds flush to the wall when not in use.
The Little Looster. This is another simple, but genius product. It's a special stool that wraps around the front part of your toilet so that it's in place for your little child to use, but since it's close to the base of the toilet, it doesn't obstruct adult use of the toilet and doesn't need to be moved. It provides a nice height for your boys who are standing up, and provides support to little legs while your child is sitting down.
This has been great for my son- it's always there when he's ready to use the bathroom, and it's secure, so I don't worry about the stool slipping around while he's standing on it. A few of our older relatives have asked us to move it out of the way during their visits, but both my husband and I, and the rest of the visitors to our home have had no problem easily getting to the toilet with the Little Looster in place. It's been a really handy tool to have for potty-training, and it's definitely made our lives easier!
Finally, I am coming back, once again, to our Strider No-Pedal Balance Bike. Balance bikes are a great way for your littlest ones to learn the basics of keeping a bike upright, without pedals to get in the way. After a bit of initial nervousness, Ethan picked up his Strider back last February, when he was 2 1/2, got on board and scooted away. Since then he's gained more and more confidence and has been happily riding it all over the place- including on a family walk of several miles!
Ethan's love of this bike and the ease with which he uses it is particularly impressive when you know that he is 1) the size of a 2-year-old (he's almost 4) and 2) he's dealing with very severe motor delays. So the fact that this bike is something that he can use on his own and that he loves speaks volumes to its simplicity and kid-friendliness. It's well-made and looks nice and has held up great to my two little kids. And it's easy to adjust the seat as your child grows, or if you have more than one child who wants to use it!
These are just a few of the products that came to mind when I was thinking about my "greatest hits". If there's anything that you'd like me to revisit or that you have questions about, please don't hesitate to drop me an email to ask!
Disclosure: With the exception of the Miche Bag, which I received as a prize on another blog's giveaway, these are products that I was sent to review on my blog. I am receiving no additional compensation for revisiting these products and writing this post, it's just something I wanted to do!
