Review (part 2): Crest Pro-Health Invigorating Multi-Protection Rinse

As I mentioned a few weeks back, I was selected to participate in the Crest Pro-Health Invigorating Multi-Protection Rinse Test Drive Program. In case you missed that post, you can read it at this link. And here's a bit of information about this great new product:

§      Provides consumers a unique rinsing experience with ingredients that provide an invigorating sensation during use and a lasting cool freshness after use.

§      Provides six benefits in one:
    • Kills germs
    • Reduces plaque
    • Helps prevent gingivitis
    • Keeps teeth cleaner longer (vs. brushing alone)
    • Freshens breath
    • Invigorating sensation
§      Available on shelves in March 2011

§      Suggested Retail Price: $4.59 (500mL) $5.89 (1L)
For more information on the product, you can visit its website. There is a reason that the word "invigorating" is a part of the name of this product- it will wake up your mouth and pretty much any other part of you that might be sleeping! The intensity of the mouth rinse took me a little while to get used to, but once I did, I was a big fan. When I used it after brushing, both morning and night, I felt like it did the last bit of work in getting my teeth clean and shiny.  And I really did feel like it helped keep my teeth feeling cleaner longer than when I just brushed and didn't use the rinse. In my opinion, this Crest Pro-Health rinse lived up to all of its advertised benefits. I'm a big fan now and will definitely be restocking my bathroom cabinet with more of this rinse when I finish off the bottle I have now.

One note- the Crest Pro-Health Invigorating Multi-Protection Rinse does contain a little over 10% alcohol, so it's not appropriate for use with children.
