Review: Tribest Yolife Yogurt Maker from CSN Stores

The other night I looked around my kitchen and actually laughed out loud. I realized that in one day I'd made homemade spaghetti sauce, roasted pumpkin seeds, baked banana bread and even made my own yogurt.  Me, a person with almost no skills in the kitchen.  Honestly though, I'm kind of liking this new phase of life.  Using my time at home to make things from scratch for my family instead of playing on the computer or folding another load of laundry makes me happier than I ever imagined it would.

My newly discovered yogurt-making skills are a result of my newest purchase from CSN Stores, my Tribest Yolife Yogurt Maker.  As I wrote about a while ago, I'm a CSN Store Preferred Blogger, so every so often I have the opportunity to do reviews and reader giveaways.  I had a hard time deciding what to review this last time around, until I stumbled across yogurt makers on the CSN site.  I remember my mom making yogurt when I was a kid, and we eat a TON of yogurt in my house, so it seemed like a good match.

I chose the Tribest Yolife Yogurt because of its good reviews on the CSN site, and I'm so glad I did. Making yogurt has been so easy- just mix milk and yogurt (or yogurt cultures), add the mixture to the jars and cook everything in the machine for 8-12 hours (more or less, depending on a number of factors which are clearly explained in the handy guide that comes with the machine). Yesterday I even strained my homemade yougurt with cheesecloth to make my own Greek-style yogurt!

I'm so excited to have this yogurt maker. I love being able to control just what goes into my kids' food and into my own food. I like being able to make the yogurt and then add whatever fruits or extras that my family is interested in.  And I really like this machine in particular, because you can either make the yogurt in the seven included small jars, or use the included larger lid to make yogurt in a bigger container. This gives me lots of flexibility, which is great.

CSN Stores sell not only yogurt makers, but pretty much anything else that you could dream of, thanks to the 200+ stores full of wonderful things. The holidays are coming up fast, so if you have a particular gift in mind for someone or need some inspiration, check out all the great items that CSN Stores have to offer.
