Book review: Really Woolly Bible Stories

Thanks to Booksneeze, my kids recently got the cutest new book- Really Woolly Bible Stories. I was impressed by this book from the first moment that I took it out of the packaging. It's a nice board book with a padded cover and really thick pages.  Inside the book are 16 stories from the Bible, along with an introduction and a closing prayer. Stories include creation, Noah, Abraham, Daniel, Moses, David and Goliath, Jesus is Born, Jesus Welcomes the Children, and the Cross and the Tomb, to name just a few.

Each story in this book is presented in a very simple fashion- just a few paragraphs of rhyming lines that introduce your child to the story.  On the next page there is a full page drawing from the story, along with information guiding you to the place in the Bible where the full story can be read.

My kids are 3 and 1, and they both really liked this book. The simple presentation of the stories in rhyming lines really kept my 3-year-old's attention, and I felt that it was a good way for him to start learning these Bible stories. My 1-year-old loved the pictures, particularly the drawings of the little lamb that appear somewhere on each page. If there's a little one in your life that you'd like to share the Bible with, this book is a great place to start.

Disclosure: I received a copy of this book to review for myself, thanks to the Booksneeze program. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.
