Review: Seasons Day Planner

I am suddenly really anxious for 2011 to get here- I'm ready to use my fabulous new Seasons Day Planner! I've already got a few things written in it for next year- it's hard to believe that the new year is close enough to already be scheduling events.

I'm a huge fan of organization, so I've tried lots of different desk calendar/organizers. There are many fabulous ones out there, but the Seasons Day Planner is really special. This day planner goes beyond just the to-do list of our busy days and helps to focus on the bigger picture as well with its "goals" section. I love this section- it has a discussion of setting goals, ideas for goals, and a place to record your goals for home, finances, health, family and friends, community involvement and travel and adventure, to name a few. There are also great ideas for actually accomplishing your goals, so that you don't just write them down and forget them. I get so caught up in my daily life that I don't take the time to think about anything other than laundry, so I need this reminder that there is more to life.

The Seasons Day Planner is very practical for keeping track of day-to-day busyness as well. It's nicely laid out with tabs for each month, so you can quickly find the appropriate page. Each month's section contains a whole-month view, pages to write down your monthly goals well and make other notes, and pages that let you see your whole week at a glance. The area for each day has plenty of space to keep track of appointments and to-do lists, a column where you can prioritize your tasks and even a place to write down what's for dinner! As I've mentioned before, I keep forgetting about the existence of dinner, so this is a handy reminder for me!

Vivian has a very busy life to keep organized as well!

Other things that I love about this planner are that it includes an inspirational quote for each week, and has  sections for keeping track of special occasions, helpful hints for weekly/seasonal tasks for myself and my home, recording important contact information, and even a full address book.  Everything is neatly kept together in a beautiful 7 x 9 inch 7-ring binder with handy pockets and a pen loop.

2011 Seasons Day Planners are available now and can be purchased at the Seasons website. This planner has a lot to offer and would make a fabulous gift for the busy woman in your life!

Disclosure: I was sent a planner to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.
