Review (part 2): The Little Looster

Back in July I wrote a post about a fabulous potty-training tool that I was starting to review, called The Little Looster. Click here to read part 1 of my review. Potty-training has been intense, but actually has gone fairly smoothly (so far) and I know that that's partly due to The Little Looster.

The Little Looster is a stool that fits right around the base of your toilet and provides support for your little one's legs as they sit on the potty.  No more dangling legs and a much improved balance on the potty.  We started potty-training with Ethan sitting on a typical training potty, but after a week or so, when he was starting to really get the idea of using a potty and not a diaper, we moved him up to the regular toilet.

I was thrilled with this move because I am not a fan of cleaning out the little training potty. Having Ethan sit on the big potty and just flushing the mess is so much easier! The Little Looster helped make this transition much easier, as he wasn't scared that he was going to fall, thanks to the support for his legs was really a huge help.  I like that The Little Looster tucks in around the base of the toilet in a way that doesn't interfere with adult usage of the toilet.  I have enough to worry about without dealing with moving a stool all the time.

Ethan, wondering why Mommy has him sitting on the potty with his pjs on :)

Potty-training is a challenging time for parents and kind of a scary time for kids in a way. Learning a new way of doing something is always a big deal. I'm a big fan of anything that makes the process of potty-training go more smoothly, and The Little Looster has definitely been a huge help to us.  If you're potty-training or thinking about potty-training or have a loved one who is about to potty-train their child- take a look at The Little Looster.

Disclosure: I received a Little Looster to review and use for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.
