Review: Vemayca Cosmetic Bags

On the weekends my family is often found in the car, driving to visit relatives in nearby cities or hopping on some other mode of transportation for a mini-vacation.  So my suitcases and cosmetic bags get a lot of use.  My suitcases hold up pretty well, but my cosmetic bags are constantly getting grubby with leaked toiletries and spilled makeup and smudges of toothpaste. There are few things grosser than reaching into the depths of my bag to grab an eyeliner or lipstick and getting my hand covered in some mysterious something left over from an earlier trip.  In the past I've tried to solve this problem by attempting to clean out my bags, which never works well, and usually I just end up buying a new one.

So I was thrilled to get the opportunity to review a cosmetic bag from Vemayca Cosmetic Bags. These wonderful cosmetic bags are the brainchild of Veronica, a local mom who spent years traveling for her job as an airline marketing executive.

Vemayca Cosmetic Bags

When I pulled my Vemayca cosmetic bag out of its packaging, I was immediately impressed by how soft it was. The exterior fabric reminds me of some of my kids' toys, and I kept wanting to pet it! But the genius of this bag is on the inside- instead of just your usual cosmetic bag fabric, the Vemayca bag has a removable liner. It easily snaps on and off, so you can wipe off all the makeup that has accumulated on it, snap it back in and start your next trip with a clean bag! Brilliant! You can even buy replacement liners for your Vemayca bag, if needed.

The bag is a nice size- just right for holding all the essentials for my travel.  Here's my bag packed with all the items that I usually take along on a weekend trip.
All loaded up

Easily zipped closed- with space to spare!

The bag measures approximately 9 inches wide, 6 inches high and 2 inches deep.  Really a good size to hold what you need without taking over your entire suitcase. The flat bottom helps it to stand upright, so you can easily access what's inside. Another feature that I really like is that this bag has two outside pockets in addition to the main central compartment. Perfect for things like necklaces or hairclips that you want to keep separate from your makeup and toiletries.

I really like my Vemayca Cosmetic Bag and think it would be a great addition to any traveling woman's life! Visit the Vemayca website for some other suggestions on how to use these bags to organize your life or to purchase one for yourself.
