As I write this review, Ethan is sitting on the floor near me, happily playing with the newest toy in our home- the Kid K'Nex Big Building Tub. Ethan will be turning three in a little less than two weeks and he's reaching the age where he's bored with plain old blocks and the toys that he played with when he was younger. So it was great timing to get to review this toy as part of the Summer SheBlogs Tour!
The Kid K'Nex Big Building Tub comes with 50 pieces. Among these pieces are blocks, rods and connectors, so you can build shapes that are really unusual and different from the boring structures that you're usually limited to when building with blocks. If you need some inspiration for your designs, the tub includes a handy little guide that shows you how to make some shapes, including fish, airplanes and letters. And when you're done playing, everything stores away neatly in the tub!
