Seattle people- do you know about ParentMap?

We're really lucky here in Seattle to have a wonderful local parenting resource- Parent Map. This is an amazing site- for those of us living locally they have a calendar with great events going on for parents and kids.  They also have a handy directory for resources such as birth support, birthday party planning, childcare, education, health and beauty, moms and dads groups... if it's something that you need to make your life as a parent easier, this is the place to go to look for information.  Parent Map also sponsors events for parents such as the Pathways Lecture Series, Education Fairs, Preschool Preview Nights, and CampFair. I've had the opportunity to attend one of the Pathways lectures several years and it was really educational and encouraging. I'm hoping to be able to attend another one soon.

There's also helpful information for people who aren't local parents. The site contains articles on child development, getting ready for school, health and development, and media reviews.

Parent Map is now on Facebook and Twitter! And, if you become a fan/"like" Parent Map on Facebook before May 31st, you'll be entered to win a free night's stay at the beautiful Salish Lodge. I've heard rave reviews about this place, what a wonderful prize! Go check out Parent Map and their Facebook and Twitter pages. I think you'll like what you see!

I received absolutely no compensation and no product for this post. Just passing on some information!
