Review: Grow Smart Games! (Another wonderful Etsy store)

A few weeks ago I was working in the toddler class at church and noticed a cool toy on the shelf. It was an "I Spy" bag. I'd never seen one before, but immediately knew that I needed to get one for my kids. Of course, I went to Etsy to find one, and I found a bunch. In the end, I purchased an I Spy sensory stick from an Etsy store called Grow Smart Games.

It arrived this week and we absolutely love it! The sensory stick is a 9" heavy tubing with sealed endcaps. Inside are polybead pellets and 20 hidden items.  Attached to the stick is a handy laminated card with the list of items that are hidden inside. So if you have a child that can read, they can spend time looking for certain items.  My kids are still too young for that, but it's an activity that we can do together- reading the words for Ethan and asking him to look for things. It's also been great for him to look at on his own, just enjoying the beads and the shapes inside. And Vivian thinks it's just a lot of fun to shake the tube and hear the beads rattle inside!

Grow Smart Games also has another cute idea- the My Pocket Games. These are laminated cards and a dry erase marker attached to a ring. On the cards are favorite games like Tic Tac Toe, Dots and Boxes, Hangman, Alphabet Game, and Pipes.  All the games that kids like to play- all in one place and with a reusable surface to write on.

If you have long car trips or airplane rides in your future for this summer, definitely check out Grow Smart Games for some really affordable and fun entertainment ideas for your family!

Disclosure: I received no product and no compensation for this post. Just wanted to write about something that I purchased and that I really like!
