Review: SeaPak Popcorn Shrimp

I have to admit, I tend not to always share my food samples with my husband when I receive something to review.  Which is both not nice, and probably a bad idea, since he's the one out of the two of us that really needs to eat more! So, when I got the opportunity to review a product from SeaPak, I decided to let Daniel be the one who chose the product.

We ended up with SeaPak Popcorn Shrimp, but SeaPak also has a huge number of other frozen options for you- butterfly shrimp, shrimp scampi, specialty shrimp (coconut, light and crispy, alfredo and tempura), and seafood (artichoke pesto tilapia, herb butter salmon, Maryland style crab cakes, parmesan encrusted tilapia, roasted garlic encrusted flounder, salmon burgers, salmon nuggets, seasoned Ahi tuna steaks, smoky barbeque salmon fillets and tilapia tenders). Yum!

Daniel said that the Popcorn Shrimp was easy to bake and tasted great. He thought it was a really nice addition to his lunch.  According to the SeaPak website, the Popcorn Shrimp is a whole tail-off shrimp coated in light, crisp Japanese-style breading, and it contains 135 mg of Omega 3s and 65 IU of vitamin D per serving. We're always looking for ways to get more of both of those into our diets, so it's nice to know that!

If you're looking to add some seafood to your dinner rotation this week or just want an easy and delicious snack, check out SeaPak in your grocery store's frozen section!

Disclosure: I received a coupon for one product from SeaPak in order to do this review. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.
