Help out a performing arts camp for disadvantaged kids!

I got an email today asking for my help- and for help from all of you as well!

There's a performing arts summer program called Summer Stars, and it's one of the largest non-profit summer programs in the country. Every year they send hundreds of urban youth to a free, 10-day performing arts and music education excursion. The program is free to campers, so it needs donations for funding. This year Summer Stars is competing in the Pepsi Refresh Everything project (www.refresheverything.com/summerstars) for a chance to win a grant for this year’s program.

You can visit the Pepsi Refresh Everything site once per day to vote to help Summer Stars. It just takes a minute to sign up and vote, I just did it myself- please drop by the site and cast your vote. Voting closes April 30, 2010.

You can visit these sites for more information on Summer Stars.
