Do you know about EcoMom?

I've written here before about SproutBaby and some of the great products that they have to offer.  I just found out this week that SproutBaby recently acquired EcoMom, a premier eco-parenting blog network.

Here's some information about EcoMom from the press release:
EcoMom is a global network of women working together to create a healthy and sustainable future. We believe that one of the strongest forces in nature is a network of women and our greatest hope for a better world lies in the maternal instinct to nurture and protect. If you doubt it, you've never met a momma bear alone in the woods. Hence, our unique hybrid structure formed by the charitable partnership of two entities:
  • EcoMom Alliance, a 501(c)3 not for profit global organization inspiring and empowering thousands of women through education and community action to help reduce the climate crisis and create and environmentally, socially and economically sustainable future.
  • EcoMom Incorporated, a socially responsible corporation committed to bringing together the voices of women around the world to advocate for a sustainable future through social networking, interactive media and conscious consumer goods. A generous portion of EcoMom Inc profits is contributed to the EcoMom Alliance on an annual basis.

This looks like a wonderful partnership to me- a source of great information and a wonderful website to buy all the eco-friendly baby items that you could ever want!  Congrats to SproutBaby and EcoMom!

I was not compensated for this post and received no product to review. Just passing on some useful information!
