Thanks to my involvement over at the Product Review Place, Ethan and I recently had the chance to review a great book- Flip Along Fun!  This is a really great kids' book- it's fun and educational all at once. The book is an oversized flip book, with bright, colorful pictures printed on thick, sturdy paper. It's ring-bound for easy page turning, which I really liked.

This book is much more than just the bright pictures- it's designed to teach numbers, rhymes, colors, animals, sequencing, matching, addition, and the concept of beginning/middle/end.  There are three sets of panels to mix and match stories.  Right now Ethan (who is 2 1/2) just likes to flip the pages and look for certain animals or point out colors. But as he gets older, he'll start catching on the fact that the panels go together to make a story.  Your child can use this book to make their own story- he/she picks a panel from the left, then one from the center, then finds the panel on the right that contains the animals from the other two panels and completes the story. 

We really love this book- Ethan's been carrying it around our home and flipping the pages happily. It's been great fun to have and I look forward to continuing to use it as an educational resource as he gets older.
