We have a new favorite toy in our house- Vivian's Ringley natural teething toy. You all know the "joys" of having a teething baby- the crying and fussiness and general unhappiness. We've been giving Vivian plastic teething toys to chew on for the last few months, but she's never been that thrilled with them.
So I was so excited to get the Ringley in the mail- and was even more excited when Vivian immediately fell in love with it! This is a wonderful product- it's made of 100% organic terrycloth and untreated Canadian maple. It's made without harmful chemicals or dyes, so there's no worry about having your child chewing on it. And it's handmade in Canada (for you new readers, my husband is Canadian and the kids are dual citizens so I'm always happy to support Canadian companies!).
Vivian loves the dual textures on this teether. She started out chewing on the ring, then went to chewing on the cloth part for a while, then switched back. We're taking a plane trip next week, and the Ringley is on the top of my must-pack list. Chewing on it makes her so happy!

I learned that I can buy a Ringley at a store in Brooklyn Park, MN, right around the corner from where I live!!
The knotted and straight ringleys should be hand washed and hung to dry but the junior and the ball are machine washable if you remove the ring prior to washing.

I like the way kids can hold onto the terrycloth and maybe keep track of their own teether. This reminds me of the binkies I made for my preemies using a nipple taped to a washcloth, so it wouldn't get "lost."
