Review: Boz the Bear DVDs

As I mentioned yesterday, I was lucky enough to be a recipient of the MomSelect Holiday Pak. Another of the great things inside the box were two DVDs. They weren't DVDs that I was familiar with, but they quickly became favorites in our family.

The DVDs that we received are Boz the Bear DVDs, and they're great! And I say that as a person who is extremely picky about what shows my kid watches. If he's going to be watching something, I need it to 1) not annoy me and 2) teach him something. These DVDs fit the bill exactly!

Boz is a funny green bear who lives next door to two little kids, Drew and Gracie. Along with their friends, they have adventures and learn about God's world. The two DVDs that we got were "Thank you God for Bananas, Bubbles and Busy Bodies" and "A WowieBozowee Christmas".

I really like the strong Christian message in these DVDs. I've been looking for a good, age-appropriate Christian show for Ethan to watch, but most of the ones that I can stand to watch are too old for a 2-year-old and don't keep his attention. The Boz series is made for preschool kids, and Ethan really seemed to enjoy watching. He laughed at the funny antics on the screen and swayed along to the songs and just had a good time. I'm really glad that we know about this series and I plan to add more Boz DVDs to our collection soon!

You can get Boz the Bear DVDs as well as music CDs, books, and toys at the online store. Go check them out!
