A great website for dolls for children of color and with special needs

As you know, my family is a multicultural family, and my daughter is definitely not taking after my side of the family in the looks department.  I get asked where I adopted her from, and I'm pretty sure people don't believe me when I say she's my biological daughter!

I've been working on my kids' Christmas gift list, and one of the things that I want to buy Vivian this year is a baby doll, but I've been running into a problem- Vivian doesn't look like most of the baby dolls that are available for purchase. I'm sure she wouldn't care, but I would like for her to have a baby doll who looks like her.

So last night when I was doing a google search, I came across The Pattycake Doll Company. This is a great site, they not only have dolls for all different age categories, including for babies and newborns (another thing that's hard to find in the stores!), but they have a great selection of Hispanic dolls, Asian dolls, African-American dolls, and dolls and toys for kids with Downs Syndrome or other special needs. They even have potty-training dolls!

I love this doll for Vivian, the Lil Hugs Asian baby doll. Isn't that adorable?

Good match, right? :)

So, if you're looking for a great selection of dolls for kids of all ages and all colors, go check Pattycake Dolls out!
