Review: MyClyns personal spray

It's October 9, and in my family we've already had one round of winter colds go through our home.  I don't know about you, but I get to the point sometimes when I just want to dress my family in haz mat suits every time we leave the house. No more germs!

That's why I was excited to receive a tube of the new MyClyns personal spray to review, thanks to my involvement at the Product Review Place. MyClyns is known in the emergency response world, thanks to their handy sprays for use by first responders such as firemen and EMTs. Now they have come up with a personal version of their spray for use by those of us who are really exposed to yucky stuff, the moms and dads of the world!

The MyClyns personal spray comes in a small tube, and is a non-aerosol pump spray. I like the size of the tube, it's small enough to fit into the corner of my diaper bag and not take up space, but it's still big enough that I could find it easily. It also meets airline restrictions, so you can take it with you when traveling- another big germ exposure time!

The spray is really easy to use, when your child has been exposed to germs of some sort, you just take the tube out and spray 2-3 sprays on your child. The unusual thing about the MyClyns is that it can be sprayed directly on your child's face if needed. So if your child's playmate sneezes right into the face of your kid, just take out the tube and spray away! It can also be sprayed onto any other area, even open wounds. According to the MyClyns literature, testing has shown that using the spray results in a 99.99% reduction in pathogens.

I like this spray-it's a good thing to have on hand for the times when my kids have been exposed to something, and it's more than a little hand sanitizer can clean up.

MyClyns personal spray is going to be available in a store near you very soon- selling for a suggested retail price of $9.99.  And on 10/15, they will be launching their newly redesigned webpage at, so be sure to go check that out!
