Review and giveaway: Yoplait kids yogurt!- CLOSED

I recently had the opportunity to review some Yoplait yogurt- or I should say my son had the opportunity!  We were sent a certficate for a free pack of yogurt. I hoped to be able to try out the Yoplait Kids yogurt, since it's made for toddlers and is advertised as having 25% less sugar than the average leading kids' yogurt, while still being full of calcium, vitamins and protein. However, as I have mentioned before, we live in an area when stores tend to not stock many products for babies and toddlers, so I wasn't able to find this yogurt.

Instead, we ended up with a pack of Yoplait Trix yogurt, in the raspberry rainbow/strawberry banana bash flavors.  When I opened up the first cup to give Ethan, I have to admit that I was a little surprised by the bright colors and fruity smell- it really is Trix yogurt!  I gave Ethan his bowl of yogurt and he started spooning it in his mouth right away. Maybe fruit smells and bright colors are the answer for all our toddler non-eating issues? He really enjoyed the Trix yogurt and ate about 90% of it, which is HUGE for him.  The Trix yogurt has, among other things, 10% of the daily value of Vitamin D per cup. Vitamin D supplementation is a big deal for us in rainy Seattle, so I liked this a lot.

Typically I do buy organic yogurt for my kids, but I would definitely buy this again for Ethan as a special treat, since he liked it so much. and I'm going to keep looking for the Yoplait Kids yogurt too and hope to be able to try that soon.
